Tchogha Zanabil is an ancient temple that belongs to the Elamite civilization that dates back to 1250 BC. Ontash Gal, the king of Elamite ordered to build this temple to praise God. The temple, which is the first skyscraper in the world, about 52 meters high in five floors, of which only two floors remain. Haft Tappeh Museum Susa UNESCO
During the construction of the Hafta Tappeh Sugarcane Company, the remains of a brick arch appeared along with part of a brick wall. This led to the start of excavations by Iranian archaeologists, led by Dr. Ezatullah Neghaban, in the Haft Tappeh area. This excavation, which started in 1344, lasted until 1978 in its first phase.
The ancient site of Haft Tappeh is located 15 km south of the city of Susa. The excavations contain valuable works such as pottery and metal sculptures, tombs, temples, mass graves, pottery and musical instruments. According to these excavations, civilization in this region dates back to at least 600 BC.
